Talk Descriptions
Learn from PPC experts sharing practical strategies, real examples and actionable takeaways.
Target CPA is supposed to help advertisers control acquisition costs, but what happens when the target itself starts working against you?
Google's recent Smart Bidding changes for campaigns limited by budget made me look more closely at how tCPA is actually being used across lead generation accounts. In some cases, targets have been set based on historical performance, Google's recommendations or simply what the account has always used, without asking whether they still reflect what a conversion is genuinely worth to the business.
In this session, I'll look at when Target CPA helps, when it can restrict growth and what to check before changing your bidding strategy. You'll leave with a practical framework for deciding when to keep your tCPA, adjust it or move towards Maximize Conversions or value-based bidding, without reacting to every new Google Ads update.
When performance stalls, the usual advice is to increase budgets, launch another campaign type, expand to a new platform, or hand it over to automation. But what if the thing holding you back has nothing to do with how much you're spending?
This session is about finding the real constraint before you try to scale. Susan Yen will break down the signals that tell you whether you have a demand problem, a measurement problem, a conversion problem, a creative problem, or simply an account that isn't ready for more budget.
Expect real-world examples, uncomfortable questions, and a practical framework for deciding what to fix, what to change, and when to actually scale. Because the goal isn't to spend more. It's to make what you're already doing work better.
Most advertisers use profit data for one thing: bidding. In this session, Jeremy Young (Young & Digital) and ProfitMetrics go further, showing what profit data can actually solve when it's put to work beyond the bid strategy. Expect a live example, real numbers, and a use case most of the room hasn't seen yet.
For over three years, ever since Google announced SGE, brand leaders have been asking us the same pressing questions about the future of search, across both paid and organic.
Those questions have always come from the right place: fear of missing KPIs and targets, and real uncertainty about what might be the biggest shift in search marketing of my career. In this talk, I'll share the approach we use to cut through that uncertainty, how we brief brand leaders and CMOs on what's actually happening, and how we align them on the tactical decisions every brand is now weighing up.
As a specialist ecommerce marketer with a background in development and SEO, now working as a consultant, I'll share what we're doing, seeing and where we're winning within the Performance Marketing team at StrategiQ.
